About the Artist

 
Mark S. Ciocca holds a Masters degree in Education from the state of Pennsylvania, a B.S. in Art Education from Kutztown University, and an Associates degree from Keystone College. He has completed additional graduate work at Ohio State University, Marywood University and other institutions. He has been teaching secondary art at Pocono Mountain School District, PA, since 1986 and as adjunct fine arts instructor at Keystone College, PA.

This current body of work is a collection of silkscreen and linoleum prints begun in 1998 and continues to develop. Since that time his work has been juried in local, state, and national exhibitions, receiving many awards and honors.  His work has also been shown in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and New York City, among other venues. He has participated in several educational and artistic programs at the national level.

Mark continues to work from his studio, Keystone College studios, and has also worked from The Susquehanna Art Exchange studios.
